Takezaki Prefecture (竹崎県, Takezaki-ken) is a prefecture of Teiko located on Daichi Island. The capital is the city of Kanazawa. Takezaki is named after Suenaga Takezaki, a famous Sengoku period daimyo who led Teiko’s invasion of Korea. It also means rough bamboos since bamboos are abundant within the prefecture.
