Siculia Broadcasting Corporation, a name often shortened to SBC is the exclusive dealer of the public broadcasting service in Siculia. The headquarters is located in San Foca Foca Monzese district. Siculia Broadcasting Corporation established as a company under State control until 12 September of 1978 which was accquistato for 10 million Lira Siculian from John Colucci that by becoming part of firms under the administration of the family Colucci although the State still holds 49% of the shares. At the international level Siculia Broadcasting Corporation is present in the U.S. media and especially in the European media with its Division worldwide, operates in a very limited way in African and Asian countries. In 1979 Siculia Broadcasting Corporation reached an agreement with Radiotelevisione italiana S.p.A. with the exchange of products produced by their respective companies. In 2013, it made an operating profit of £S175 million , based on income of £S1.3 billion, including a license fee of £S300 million.

The Foundation and the Fascist period[edit | edit source]
The company was founded in March 2, 1924 almost in full Fascist period. This period starts the transmission of the radio channel SBC 1 (Then it was called SBC Radio 1) where broadcast various programs and news main. Now comes the radio channel SBC Radio 2 who had the task of transmitting the various sports that sis turned into Siculia and music and in 1926 was born SBC Radio 3 that is regional news at regional level is sent.

When Siculia went to war, Siculia Broadcasting Corporation was responsible for submitting the information to the soldiers who were in Europe.
From tv to the purchase of the company[edit | edit source]
In 1948 the first television experiments in siculia and in 1950 was the first television channel SBC 1 and the following year was born SBC 2 and then SBC 3 with the same functions equipped with the radio channels. The era of John Colucci[edit | edit source]
When John Colucci within the company as President beginning the process of remodeling and in early 1979 the company back in full swing and the erntre were positively thanks to the Canon and advertising e-mail between the end and the beginning of a television program. During this period the company complied to new generations and their needs in fact, Siculia Broadcasting Corporation in addition to cultural programs and documentaries proposed classics other programs that took inspiration from British and American programmes. At the beginning of 1980 made several television programs and several tv series but the real breakthrough was made in 1983 when I buy the NightRide Record which became a subsidiary of the company and founded the radio station NightRide Fm. In this period was also the company Tropea Concept whose job is to make it easier for computer graphics animation scenes and stunts and working with the stuntman. In 1984 with the authorization of John Colucci (who took part in some scenes) was made the first movie of Siculia Broadcasting Corporation named Tropea Cops which had a great success both in the country and abroad and was made the tv series with six seasons. The series was filmed in Tropea and the soundtrack was done by ElecTrain. Throughout the period of 1980-1989, Siculia Broadcasting Corporation has created big tv series movies and documentaries that still in syndication.
The era of Trash[edit | edit source]
With the entrance of Mediaset Siculia Communication starts a war of programs that critics considered them junk programs but the Siculia Broadcasting Corporation comes out sconfittà with the airing of the television program Ciao Darwin during this period, the company continued to create high-quality tv programs.
The Internet and the modern period[edit | edit source]
With the advent of the internet, Siculia Broadcasting Corporation open the first streaming site and Giuseppe Colucci takes the reins of the company after his father John Colucci announced to run for President. Currently some rumor the company is considering whether to resume the series Tropea Cops or close it permanently.

SBC Takamaiku is a joint-venture channel between Siculia Broadcasting Corporation, Mediaset Siculia Communication, and Senkaido Broadcasting under the control of its major parent Takamaiku News Network. SBC Takamaiku is a channel availbale only within Takamaiku that broadcast Siculia and Takamaikan produced television programs released in both Siculia and Takamaiku respectively. The channel is available to watch on numerous Cable and Sattelite providers such as SkySat, Cablenet, and TakamaTel iPlay.
