In Teiko, Sesshō (摂政) is a title given to a regent who was named to act on behalf of either a minor Prince before his coming of age. The Kampaku (関白) is the chief advisor for the Prince. While the titles were adopted from Japan where in the roles a Sesshō and Kampaku had existed since the Heian period, they were only adopted in Teiko in 2017 and 1985 respectively. The titles Sesshō and Kampaku are translated to English as Prince Regent and Royal Adviser respectively.
The current Sesshō and Kampaku are Taishi and Sai respectively.
