Sai (, Sai, born 13 March 2001) formally known as Sai, Prince Bomugyu is a member of the Royal House of Teiko. He is the younger son of Hajime, Prince Bomugyu and Kaneshiro Hiromi. In April 2015, he inherited the title "Prince Bomugyu" after the death of his parents and older brother. He is a third cousin of Prince Kiyoshi and the last in line to the throne. His great great grandfather was Prince Seiru. In August 2022, Prince Bomugyu was appointed as Kampaku.

Kampaku[edit | edit source]

In August 2022, Prince Bomugyu was appointed as Kampaku (Royal Advisor) after Prince Chinen left the post.[1] As Royal Adviser, he participated in the annual Teiko Royal Navy drills with Prince Kiyoshi and Prince Regent Taishi.[2] The event marks the first time that the three most senior members of the Royal House of Teiko by rank appeared in public together.
