The Reform Democrats (Rocailish: Reformdemokrater) are a major political party in Rocail. The party is the oldest political affiliation currently operating in Rocailish politics, evolving from the Reform Liberal Party of 1882. It is the current largest party in the Riksdagh and heads the governing coalition formed following the 2020 elections. Reform is the major political party of the Rocailish centre-right and has contributed 12 Prime Ministers and numerous governments throughout Rocail's history.
History[edit | edit source]
The earliest version of Reform was a centre-left response to nearly three decades of governance by Heura in the Riksdagh. The Liberal Reform Party amalgamated the failing Liberal Democrats with a bloc of independent delegates seeking to counterbalance the power of wealthy landowners, who were over-represented by Heura.
