Piedmont (/ˈpiːdmɒnt/ PEED-mont; Italian: Piemonte, pronounced [pjeˈmonte]; Baliscano, Occitan and Catalan: Piemont) is a region in southern Hesperia. It is separated from Luzamontaña to the south by the Guadalquivir, and is bordered by the Castejón Metropolis to the southwest, Jaguarundi to the west, and Triente to the north. It has an area of 25,402 km2 (9,808 sq mi) making it the # largest region of Balisca. It had an estimated population of 1,269,714 in 2023. The capital of Piedmont is Orquívoro, and its largest city is Syracuse.

The area that became Piedmont was first inhabited by groups of hunter–gatherers 13,000 years ago. The predominant tribe at the moment of the arrival of Europeans was the Kurupiranga, when the Sardinians established the first outpost at Rivarenza in 1680; Piedmont was settled by Europeans late relative to neighboring countries.
