The Ministry of Defense (防衛省, Bōei-shō) is a Daijō-kan level ministry of the Government of Teiko. It is headquartered in Dazaifu, Tetsuya and is one of the largest organ of the Teikonian government. Headed by the Minister of Defense, the ministry is required by the Constitution of Teiko to be complete subordinate to civilian authority. It is responsible for guarding against external and internal threats to peace and security in the country. The Ministry of Defense has supervision over the Teiko Royal Military.

The current Minister for Defense is Suzaku Kururugi who was appointed by Daijō-daijin Seijuro Akashi last 7 September 2020 and was reappointed to the same position by Daijō-daijin Koyomi Araragi last 29 November 2021.
