Massachusetts Bay (abbreviated MB) is a U.S. state in the New England region of the country. It is bordered to the west by New York, to the north by Vermont and New Hampshire, and to the south by Connecticut and Rhode Island. To the east of the state is the Atlantic Ocean and the Massachusetts Bay which the state is named for. The capital is Boston which is also the largest city and metropolitan area in the state.
