Karakura (空座区, Karakura-ku) is a ward located in Tetsuya, Teiko. It is the most populous ward in Tetsuya and is the center of commercial activity which includes hotels, malls and other services. Most foreign embassies and diplomatic missions have already relocated in Karakura-ku from Kaijo. The name Karakura literally means 'empty seat' and is the location of the Seireitei.
