Giuseppe Colucci International Airport or Tropea International Airport is the airport of Tropea and is the only one within the Republic of Tropea. He is regarded as one of the world's most dangerous airports because of its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the hills of the island of Santa Teresa. The name is in honor of Giuseppe Colucci (father of John Colucci) where he was born in Tropea and built the Grand Hotel Excelsior Casino.The airport consists of three terminals that are identified with the letters A-B-C
