The Greater Kaijo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in Teiko. It is composed of the Kaijo, Kamizaki, and parts of Kyosen. It is also the third largest metropolitan area in the country by total land area after Ramakazawa, and Akamayu Metropolitan Area. The region is Teiko's most important economic, trade, and commercial hub. It is also the country's cultural, education, and political center.

The Greater Kaijo Area is also known as the National Capital Region (首都圏 Shuto-ken) since it includes the federal capital Tetsuya.
