Castejón Metropolitan Rapid Transit (CMRT), commonly refered to as simply the Castejón Metro, is a heavy rail elevated and subway public transportation system serving the Castejón Metropolis in Balisca. CMRT serves 326 stations along 22 routes on 764.4 kilometers (475.0 mi) of rapid transit lines. With an average of just under six million weekday passengers and just under three billion annual passengers in fiscal year 2023, CMRT is the busiest heavy rail rapid transit system in Balisca, and the x-busiest in AIN. It is complemented by the ComMuni transit system.

The initial system opened in stages from 1909 to 1912 within the Ampurias, Coruxón and Expansión boroughs as the Castejón Underground. It is operated by the Castejón Metropolitan Transit Authority which formed in 1957 following the acquisition of the Castejón Underground by the Metropolitan government. The system was extended most recently on June 13, 2020, when Civitas and West San José stations opened as part of the Concordia Rapid Transit system in partnership with the surrounding Alpujarran operators and the Jatiel Transit Authority (JTA).

The system has operated 24/7 service every day of the year throughout most of its history, barring emergencies and extreme weather events. By annual ridership, the Castejón Metropolitan Rapid Transit system is the busiest rapid transit system in both the Western and the Southern Hemispheres, as well as the seventh-busiest rapid transit rail system in the world. In 2023, CMRT delivered over 3 billion rides, averaging approximately 10.9 million daily rides on weekdays and a combined 6 million rides each weekend (3.2 million on Saturdays, 2.8 million on Sundays). On 23 December 2023, more than 11 million people rode the metro system, establishing the highest single-day ridership since ridership was regularly monitored beginning in 1985.

Today, the network is one of the largest and most efficient urban railway systems in the world, with the addition of wireless internet service on all trains; and platform screen doors at almost all stations.
