Blue Lightning also known popularly as BL and previously as Blue Lightning Gaming Corporation is a Teikonian multinational conglomerate holding company headquartered in Kaijo, Teiko. Its subsidiaries specialize in various Internet-related services and products, entertainment, artificial intelligence and technology both in Teiko and globally. Since its IPO in 2011, it has grown to a company of US$108 billion in market capitalization with its flagship project Sword Art Online receiving more than 250 million active registered users of whom 48.6 million are active in a daily basis. The company was founded in 2001 by Kazuto Kirigaya.
