Arcadia (Baliscano: Arcàdia) is a rugged and mountainous island autonomous region in northern Cerdanya near the western entrance to the Strait of Ivorra. It is frequently praised for its dramatic scenery that has remained largely untouched throughout history. The views, redwood forests, hiking, beaches, and other recreational opportunities have made Arcadia a popular destination for visitors from across the world.
