Akashi Hotels and Resorts International is a Teikonian multinational hospitality company headquartered in Kaijo, Teiko. Akashi Hotels and Resorts International is a major component of the Akashi Group. Founded in 1965, the company manages and operates over 96 luxury hotels and resorts with over 20,000 rooms across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and Australia. Since 2010, the company has been expanding rapidly in new international markets in South America.

Akashi Hotels and Resorts International was founded in 1965 as it split from Akashi Land and Properties as the company decides to cater to the growing luxury hotel market in the country. In November 1966, the company was operating 6 hotels across Teiko, all of which was opened under the Akashi Land and Properties. The first hotel to be opened under the current company was Akashi Tokyo, currently Akashi Tokyo-Marunouchi in August 1966. Currently, the company operates 96 hotels across the globe with more than 40 of those located in East Asia.
