The Air Guard (Icelandic: Loftvarnarlið) is the air branch of the Icelandic Defensive Guard. The AG is responsible for surveillance of the Icelandic Airspace, offer air support in maritime patrol tasks and carry out transport flights to isolated regions in Iceland.
