AINVision Ascadylea 2012 was the 6th Semi-Annual AINVision Song Contest which was held in the winter season of 2012. This is the 3rd winter version of the winter contest and was hosted with the previous win by Ascadylean representative Beyoncé with Love On Top at Centreburg, Corraile. The show was held on the 1st December and the results on the 9th of December. 15 countries participated in this contest which was only 1 less then the year before, despite the large amount of countries leaving before this contest.
The logo of this contest stuck to the tradition of the same template with the "AINVision" in words with the V being a heart with the flag in it, this time being the flag of Ascadylea and the scores stuck to the increasing scores until it gets to 8 10 and 12 for the top three acts of the countries vote, this being 1-7 then with the 3 extra points. The votes were closed on the 7th of December. The contest was won by Cattala with Celeste Buckingham being their representative with Run Run Run while 2nd went to Lower Columbia and 3rd was a draw between Kingston and Boyce and Ascadylea while last place was awarded to Riyadh with 18 points.
Location[edit | edit source]
The location was revealed on the 2nd of November to be the city if Binghampton, Ascadylea with an unknown stadium being the host, but the location was changed in light of the Hurricane Dora, which damaging Binghampton seriously and restricting the ability to host the contest. to it's final location, Archades, the capital of Ascadylea.

Voting and Result Showing[edit | edit source]
The voting started after the main show on the 1st of December and stopped before the result show on the 9th, stopping on the 7th of December. Voting was told to me mandatory to all entrants but non-participating countries were also allowed to vote with 2 doing just that being Ragi Isles and Costa Palma. At the end of the voting stage, only 2 countries did not vote who participated in the contest, which were Atlantsia and Exaletas. The voting format stuck to the format of an 8 point, 10 point and 12 point top 3, but the points to that point increased from 6 last contest to 7 points for 7 entrants this year. The votes were submitted to AINVision though PMs to mysticdestiny. Bloc voting was again allowed as was voting for your own country not allowed.
The result show this year showed the actual votes for each of the countries that voted but separate the 1-7 points and 8,10 and 12 points sections. The vote took place on the same boards with the list of countries going alphabetically from Ascadylea to Shihaisha.
The running of the result showing went in a different list than the alphabetical listing of the results themselves and the actual main show. The lots went as followed.
