A2 Autovia is the longest motorway in the Formosan Autoroute Network. It runs through western Formosa between the borders with Nigeria and the Republic of the Congo. A2 connects many of Formosa's major cities, including Acua and Edéa, to areas of the Formosan Highlands and the southern tier of the country. An important part of the Trans-African Highway Network, A2 carries the Lagos-Mombasa Highway north of Edéa and the Tripoli-Cape Town Highway south of the city.
