The 1984 Teiko constitutional crisis was a series of events that began after successive government failures in the aftermath of the 1983 Teiko general elections culminating in the appointment of Kazuha as Daijō-daijin leading a unity government, creation of the 1986 Constitution of Teiko and abdication of Prince Masayuki.
